Birth Place

Our doctors and midwives deliver babies at Birth Place of UPMC Horizon. Located at the Shenango Valley campus in Farrell, Birth Place includes a labor and delivery unit, Cesarean surgical suite, a mother-baby unit, level I and level 2 nurseries, onsite neonatal nurse practitioners, access to neonatology through UPMC Children’s Hospital, and onsite access to ob-gyn physicians and anesthesiologists 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
